Generic booking apps make you bend your schedule to their rules. We build booking around yours: your hours, your blocks, your deposit and your policy, with Square taking the payment and a private agenda on your phone. DC Dream Beauty takes deposits this way every day, and Dymon Tattoo is launching an even more advanced version for an artist who works in four cities.

How it works, step by step
DC Dream Beauty used the free version of Setmore. It could not take a partial deposit or follow the studio’s rule of filling each two-hour block from its first free time. Square’s own booking module kept failing on deposits. So we built a booking system around the studio’s real rules, and kept Square only for what it does well: taking the payment.
On the booking page the client checks one or more services and add-ons, such as hand-painted design. A summary instantly shows the estimated time, the total, the payment to reserve and the balance due on the day. At DC Dream Beauty the deposit is 30% of the total plus the card fee, and nobody has to ask for prices.
The client picks a day and sees only start times where the whole appointment fits inside the owner’s rules. At DC Dream Beauty that means weekday blocks of 10 to 12, 12 to 2 and 3 to 5, Saturdays from 9 to 5 and closed on Sundays, offering only the first free time in each block so the day has no loose gaps.
When the client taps to pay, the site checks again that the time is still free and holds it for 30 minutes. If someone else just took it, the client is asked to pick another time. The price is calculated on the server, not in the page, so it cannot be changed from the browser.
The client pays on Square’s secure page, so card details never pass through your site. When Square sends the client back, the site asks Square whether the payment went through. If it did, the appointment is confirmed and the client sees the day, time, services, amount paid and balance. If not, the time is released after 30 minutes and the Square charge is cancelled.
The owner opens a private agenda on the phone, installed like an app and protected with a password. Every paid booking arrives as a phone alert. From the agenda the owner adds appointments that came in by message, blocks hours or whole days, moves or cancels appointments and keeps each client’s history and notes.
Every evening the agenda lists tomorrow’s clients with a WhatsApp and a text button that opens the owner’s own app with the reminder already written. In “My business” the owner changes prices, services, lengths, hours, closed days and the deposit, and the public site shows the change in under a minute, without calling anyone.
For a tattoo artist the length depends on each piece, so booking starts with a personal quote link sent on WhatsApp, valid for 7 days and usable once. The client sees the piece, length and price, picks a day that shows which of four cities the artist is in, accepts the policy and holds the date with a $100 deposit on Square. Square notifies the system directly, so the appointment confirms even if the client closes the page. Returning clients can book 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours on their own. The system is built and tested end to end, and live deposit charges are in their final activation step.
We build the booking page, the schedule rules, the hold, the confirmation, the agenda, the alerts and the reminders, and we can move your appointments and client list from your old app, as we did from Setmore. Square handles the card page, the deposit, its own payment notices and any refund. The client’s confirmation is on screen; automatic texts or emails to clients can be added as a next step.
How we work
We write down how you really work: hours, blocks, lengths, deposit, cancellations and late arrivals.
Booking flow, payment, agenda and migration from your current app, with a fixed price in writing.
You test a real booking end to end, including the Square payment and the alert on your phone.
We move your existing appointments and clients, publish and show you how to run the agenda.

Ask on WhatsAppSquare is what both systems use to take the deposit, and it is quick to open. The calendar itself lives in your site’s agenda, not in Square.
Not in these systems. The booking policy is shown before paying, and changes go through the owner, who moves or cancels from the agenda.
Yes, on screen right after paying, with day, time, services, amount paid and balance, plus Square’s receipt. Automatic texts or emails to clients can be added as a next step.
The time is held for the first client while they pay. The second client is asked to choose another time.
Yes. For DC Dream Beauty we moved her Setmore appointments from August to December 2026 and her client list into the new agenda.
Yes. Dymon Tattoo’s system shows which city the artist is in each day, with each city’s own time zone, and opens dates by season.
Booking systems are quoted in writing after a free review, because they depend on your rules, payment and agenda needs. The quote you sign is the price you pay.
