Nails and lashes · Pembroke Pines, FL
DC Dream BeautyBooking means picking a time that actually exists.
The challenge
Diana needed clients to book on their own, inside her real two-hour blocks, and pay the deposit before taking a spot on her schedule.
DC Dream Beauty is Diana's nails and lashes studio in Pembroke Pines, Florida. She does Apres / Gel-X, Builder Gel, Dip Powder, manicures, pedicures, lash extensions and waxing, by appointment only, Monday through Saturday. Her work lived on Instagram, her calendar on the free version of Setmore, and many appointments were arranged by message.
Her schedule has very specific rules. On weekdays she works in two-hour blocks, 10 to 12, 12 to 2 and 3 to 5, with a midday break. On Saturdays she works 9 to 5. Each block has to start at the first free time, with no loose gaps in between. And she wanted clients to pay a percentage before the appointment. The free version of Setmore could not take a partial deposit or follow the no-gap rule. Her Square account existed but had never been set up, and the deposit settings in its appointments module kept showing errors.
This mattered because every message spent settling a time is time away from the chair, and an appointment with no deposit can end up empty. Diana needed a site that matched the quality of her work, where a client sees prices and durations, picks a time that actually exists, secures it by paying, and where Diana hears about every booking without having to keep watch.

What we did
Step by step, from the problem to the published page.
- 01
Before designing we researched the Pembroke Pines and Miramar market and reviewed six local salon sites: several hid their prices or sent bookings off to third-party pages.
- 02
With Diana we set a luxury direction: cream and brass tones, editorial type, her logo and real photos of her sets, with smooth motion on scroll, designed for the phone first.
- 03
We organized the site into clear pages: home, services with every price and duration, gallery, booking, contact and booking policy.
- 04
We built a set builder: the client checks several services, chooses whether she wants hand-painted design and instantly sees the total time, price, deposit and balance.
- 05
We programmed her schedule rules: two-hour blocks, only the first free time in each block and closed on Sundays. We first read her Square calendar, but its free plan does not let a website create appointments, so we built the site its own calendar that takes the time by itself once the client pays.
- 06
We connected Square for payment only: the deposit is 30% of the total plus a 4.5% card fee, the time is held for 30 minutes while the client pays, and the site asks Square whether the payment went through before confirming.
- 07
We gave Diana a private agenda in Spanish that installs on her phone like an app: a phone alert for every paid booking, next-day reminders by WhatsApp or SMS in one tap, contacts with history and a panel to change prices, services and hours herself.
- 08
We moved her Setmore history into the new agenda, with her appointments from August to December 2026 and her client list, and finished with her own domain, information Google reads and Search Console.
Page by page
- 01
Home
It opens with a full-screen photo of lashes and nails, the line "Nails that finish the mood" and two buttons: book online or see the work. Below sit a strip with the essentials (Monday to Saturday by appointment, deposit to hold your slot), a gallery of five recent sets, the menu summed up as nails, lashes and extras with starting prices, and Diana's own words about her craft. Everything leads to the booking page in one or two taps.
- 02
Services
The full price list with the length of every service: 7 nail services, 3 lash styles and waxing, plus hand-painted design from $10 and 30 extra minutes. Clients know the cost and the time before they write, without having to ask. Prices come from Diana's own panel, so when she changes them the page updates by itself.
- 03
Gallery
Nine of Diana's real sets in a grid of varied sizes and tilts, each with a caption (pearl and gold, hand-painted fruit, mermaid scales, leopard with gold foil). The photos move in as you scroll so the page does not feel flat on a phone. It ends with the booking button.
- 04
Book a set
The heart of the site. The client checks her services and sees the estimated time and price, the payment to reserve (30% plus card fee) and the balance due on the day. She enters her name and WhatsApp number, picks a day and only sees start times that are actually free on Diana's calendar. She pays on Square's secure page and the time is hers; if she prefers, one button sends the whole set to Diana on WhatsApp.
- 05
Booking confirmation
When the client returns from Square, this page checks with Square whether the payment went through. If it did, it shows "You're booked" with the day, time, services, amount paid and amount due at the chair. If not, it offers to finish paying while the time is still held, or explains that the slot was released. Google does not show it in search results.
- 06
Contact
Four ways to reach Diana: WhatsApp with a message already written, Instagram, call or text, and the booking policy. It makes clear that WhatsApp is the fastest route and that the studio is in Pembroke Pines, without publishing the street address.
- 07
Booking policy
The rules in plain words: the deposit is 30% of the total plus the card fee, it comes off the total at the appointment, a prepaid appointment cannot be moved, a no-show loses the deposit and arriving more than 15 minutes late can cost the appointment. Nobody is surprised and Diana does not have to explain it every time.
- 08
Agenda (private, for Diana)
An app in Spanish that Diana installs on her phone and opens with her own password. She sees her day and the next 14, adds appointments that come in over WhatsApp, blocks hours or the whole day, moves or cancels, and gets a phone alert for every paid booking. It has next-day reminders with WhatsApp and SMS buttons, contacts with history and notes, and "Mi negocio", where she changes prices, services, hours, closed days and the reminder text without asking anyone. Google does not index it.
Integrations and what they do
- Square (deposit payment)takes the deposit on its secure checkout page; the site creates each charge for the exact amount and checks with Square that it was paid before confirming the appointment
- The site's own calendarholds Diana's real schedule; a paid time stops being offered by itself and two clients cannot take the same one
- Alerts on Diana's phoneevery paid booking arrives as a notification with date, time, client, services, payment and balance; tapping it opens that day in the agenda
- WhatsAppbuttons with the message already written: the client sends her set to Diana, and Diana sends the reminder from her own number in one tap
- SMS remindersopen Diana's Messages app with the reminder ready, free and from her own number
- Setmore importher appointments from August to December 2026 and her client list moved into the new agenda, so those times were already taken
- Googleinformation Google reads (business type, hours, area, services and prices), sitemap, Search Console and a Google Business Profile with no public street address
- Own domain and fast hostingdcdreambeauty.studio with a secure connection
What sets the site apart
- 01
Booking follows Diana's real rules: two-hour blocks, only the first free time in each and no loose gaps. Once a time is paid it disappears for everyone else.
- 02
Before paying, the client sees the total, the time, the 30% deposit plus card fee and the balance due on the day. The charge goes through Square.
- 03
Diana runs everything from her phone, in Spanish: alerts for every booking, one-tap reminders, client history, and she changes prices, services and hours herself. The site shows the change in under a minute.
The result
What the business has today.
Facts you can check on the published site, not promises.
- Clients book and pay the deposit at dcdreambeauty.studio/reservar without sending a message, and only see times that are free on Diana's calendar.
- A time is held for 30 minutes while the client pays; if she does not pay, it becomes available again by itself.
- A test booking was paid for real through Square and showed up confirmed in Diana's agenda.
- Her Setmore appointments from August to December 2026 and her client list are inside the new agenda.
- Prices and durations for all 11 services in plain view, and a gallery of nine of Diana's real sets.
- Six public pages on her own domain, with information Google reads; the agenda and the confirmation page stay out of Google.
