The challenge

A home fragrance brand needed to start selling online with a store of its own, one that helps people choose without knowing perfumery and that takes real payments.

Casa Serena is a home fragrance brand from Pembroke Pines, Florida. It sells diffuser fragrance oils in thirteen scents, plus two wall diffusers, Aura and Halo. Its customers want their home to feel a certain way, but very few know about scent notes or how much space a diffuser covers. They buy online and in person, through private appointments and local pickup.

When the brand came to P2L it had no website. What existed was a WhatsApp conversation, a few photos of the bottle, two videos and generic supplier material. The goal was to sell through Shopify before September 20, 2026, alongside its local service. There were also two risks. The first request talked about candles, when the real product is diffuser oil. And the supplier material carried health claims and certifications the brand could not back with documents.

A template store would have put it next to every other fragrance brand, with the same menu and the same product cards. Casa Serena needed a store with its own identity. One that guides the purchase by feeling instead of notes, works in Spanish and English, takes payment through a reliable system and says only what is true about each product.

  • Market and competitor report
  • Editorial design of its own for an online store
  • Visual scenes for each scent and a hero video
  • Shopify store set up and connected to the site's cart and checkout
  • Bilingual filtered catalog, scent finder and diffuser comparison
  • Domain, launch and Google Search Console setup
  • Amazon listings in English, brand approval and links from the site

What we did

Step by step, from the problem to the published page.

  1. 01

Before designing, we prepared a report on the home fragrance market, the competition and the store structure. It settled that Casa Serena sells diffuser oils, not candles, and that the site would not publish health claims without backing.

  2. 02

We designed the store from scratch as a magazine edit, told in chapters. When the first version felt like a template, we rebuilt it: each scent got its own visual scene, created from the real bottle.

  3. 03

We built the full journey: a filtered catalog, one page per scent and per diffuser, a scent finder, a diffuser comparison and a local page. All the content lives in one place, so a price or a note changes across the whole site at once.

  4. 04

We applied the owner's corrections: the real top, heart and base notes of each scent, the colors she chose, the real city and the new names Crystal Oud and Prestige. The old addresses of those pages lead to the new ones.

  5. 05

We gave the diffusers the real data from the supplier's spec sheets and added videos of Aura in its two finishes, Ivory and Obsidian.

  6. 06

We created the Shopify store with all 15 products and their sizes, and connected the site's bag to its cart and checkout. If someone lands on Shopify's own store pages, they are sent back to the Casa Serena site.

  7. 07

We connected the casaserenaaromas.com domain, published the sitemap and registered the domain in Google Search Console so Google can find every page.

  8. 08

We took the brand to Amazon: we wrote the listings in English with no prohibited claims, handled the brand approval and published the 500 ml size. Then we added an Amazon button to each scent listed there and an announcement on the home page.

Page by page

  1. 01

    Home

It opens with a video of the bottle on stone and the line "A home can be felt too". Then it offers three clear paths (scents, diffusers and the Pembroke Pines visit), four featured scents that slide sideways, a shortcut to the feeling-based guide and the two diffusers. It closes by announcing that the 500 ml size is now on Amazon.

  2. 02

    Scents (catalog)

It brings the 13 scents and 2 diffusers into one view, with filters to show everything, only scents or only diffusers. Each card shows the scent family, the available sizes and the starting price. At the end it invites anyone unsure where to start to use the guide.

  3. 03

    Scent pages (13)

Each scent has its own page with its own shareable address: its visual scene, the story, the top, heart and base notes, the intensity and the rooms where it works best. The customer picks a size, sees the price update and adds it to the bag. Eight scents also show a button to buy the 500 ml size on Amazon.

  4. 04

    Diffusers

It presents Aura and Halo side by side, with video and price, and a table comparing design, coverage, reservoir, controls and power. That way the customer picks a diffuser by the size of their space, not by guesswork. It closes by leading to the oil catalog.

  5. 05

    Aura and Halo pages

Each diffuser has its own page with the supplier's data: up to 800 square feet for Aura and up to 1,500 for Halo, Bluetooth app control and power type. The customer chooses the Ivory or Obsidian finish, and on Aura the video changes with the chosen finish.

  6. 06

    Find your scent

A one-question guide: how do you want your home to feel. Calm, present, clear or warm, and each answer recommends a starting scent with a direct link to its page. The page itself says it is a buying guide, not a diagnosis, and the home page links to each option already selected.

  7. 07

    Pembroke Pines

The brand's local page. It explains how a visit works in three steps (discover, choose, return) and invites people to get in touch for private appointments, local pickup and help choosing a scent or diffuser. It includes contact details and a map link.

  8. 08

Bag and checkout (on every page)

A bag icon in the header opens a side panel with the products, quantities and subtotal, in the same design as the rest of the site. The bag is saved in the browser, so it is still there if the customer closes the tab and comes back. At checkout it hands off to Shopify's secure payment.

  9. 09

    ES / EN language switch

Every page has a visible Spanish and English switch that translates everything: navigation, product pages, scent notes, the guide, the comparison and the bag. The site remembers the chosen language, and the English link can be shared as is.

  2. 02

A guide that recommends by feeling (calm, presence, clarity, warmth), for people who do not know scent notes.

  3. 03
